The McGregor Athletic Complex is excited to partner with Vaerlose Basketball Klub, an Elite Basketball Club in Denmark, to provide the opportunity for players to showcase their skills with chance to earn a vacant roster spot and contract for the 2014-2015 basketball season.         

This Free Agent Camp is unique, separating itself from other camps, combines, and exposure clinics, for the simple fact that it will be instructed and scouted by Vaerlose Basketball Klub’s own newly hired Head Coach, Ty McGregor.  The 1 day camp is an invaluable opportunity for players who are looking to continue their professional playing careers or those that are looking to earn their first contract to play professionally.  THIS IS NOT AN EXPOSURE CAMP, THIS IS AN ACTUAL RECRUITING CAMP FOR VAERLOSE BASKETBALL KLUB, OF THE DENMARK ELITE CANAL DIGITAL BASKET LIGAEN.

The McGregor Athletic Complex is an excellent venue to hold such a Free Agent Camp, providing a smaller, easy to view, environment, with a limited amount of players.  Each player attending will have ample opportunity to exhibit their basketball prowess and athletic ability, in an environment that incorporates Combine Testing, Skill Development Drills, and Competitive Games.  The camp will take place Saturday, July 12, 2014 from 10am to 6pm.  There will be a 2 hour break from 1pm to 3pm, so that players can rest and recover, and coaches can review, discuss, and evaluate players.  Players will be provided with uniform tops which must be worn during the entire workout.  As mentioned above, this free agent camp is accepting a limited amount of players, so acceptance of entry form is on a “first come first serve basis”.
